Graduate in Marketing from American University, Washington D.C., Mr. Malla did MBA in Management in 1990 from Adelphi University, Long Island, New York. After doing a short stint in banking with Nepal Indosuez Bank, he joined the family business by starting Malla Alpine Resort located in the southern hills of Kathmandu Valley. He moved to Malla Travels and Tours as managing director in 1994. He was instrumental in its growth culminating in its re-branding as Malla Travel & Trek Services in 2008 after entering into a strategic alliance with Le Passage to India, India’s largest destination management company and a joint venture partner of TUI Travel PLC, the world’s largest integrated tourism company.
