DAY 01

KATHMANDU/POKHARA (30 MINS FLIGHT) (B)

After breakfast you leave Kathmandu and fly for Pokhara. After arrival in Pokhara you will transfer to the hotel. PM: One hour boat ride in Phewa Lake and visit Taal Barahi Temple

DAY 02

IN POKHARA (B)

AM: Visit Peace Stupa PM: Sightseeing tour of International Mountain Museum PEACE STUPA : Pokhara Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist monument on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski, Nepal[1] (now a part of the city of Pokhara). Shanti Stupa in Pokhara was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji. Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, also widely used in the Nepali and Hindi languages, and Shanti Stupa means Peace Pagoda. Shanti Stupa shrine was built as a symbol of peace. Situated at the height of 1100 meters on the Anadu Hill, Nichidatsu Fujii laid the foundation stone along with relics of the Buddha on 12 September 1973.[1][2] Nepal has two of the eighty peace pagodas in the world: Shanti Stupa in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha and Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara has also become a tourist attraction. It provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Fewa Lake. INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN MUSEUM: The museum is located 1.5 kilometres south of the Pokhara airport. Rightly so the museums location offers a view of the three 8000+ meter peaks of the area. The museum focus is on those who travel to this country for mountaineering. On display are also different mountain cultures and their ways of life, world mountain systems, ecology, as well as an exhibition of the world mountaineering history

DAY 03

DRIVE POKHARA/SARANGKOT APPROX 22 KM & 45 MIN TO 01 HRS DRIVE (B)

Excursion trip to Sarangkot viewpoint on Cable Car then transfer to Sarangkot Mountain Lodge – (Run by Barahi Group) Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourist can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. Sarangkot is only 5 km from Lake Side. Sarangkot is the highest view point for a sunrise and it is just 1592m high. Sarangkot is 5 degrees cooler than Pokhara. Drive to Cable Car Station and take a cable car ride to Sarangkot. Upon arrival at Sarangkot meet our vehicle to drive to Sarangkot Mountain Lodge. Enjoy the spectacular views (subject to weather) from Sarangkot Mountain Lodge

DAY 04

DRIVE SARANGKOT/POKHARA & FLY TO KATHMANDU (B)
