Historic Discovery in Nepal !

Historic Discovery in Nepal ! A new BBC documentary has brought global attention to Nepal’s Bardiya National Park by capturing rare tiger behaviour that is reshaping scientist’s understanding of the species.
The series reveals female tigers sharing parental responsibilities, a rare behaviour that challenges long-held assumptions about tigers.
Conservationists say the documentary strengthens Nepal’s reputation as a world-class wildlife destination and could boost wildlife tourism by attracting more international visitors, researchers, and filmmakers.
The increased global exposure is also expected to support local livelihoods and contribute to Nepal’s tourism-driven economy.

St. Mary’s Secondary School, Lubhu
The first Mary Ward School was established in 1986 in Jhamsikhel by the faculty and students of St. Mary’s School, one of Nepal’s premier educational institution for girls. It opened its Lubhu branch in 1997. The school has now been renamed St. Mary’s Secondary School, Lubhu in Lalitpur.
The schools have done exemplary work in providing educational opportunities and ensuring better futures for girls from families who could not have otherwise afforded to send their daughters to school. In a society where education for the girl-child is not considered necessary, Mary Ward has begun to stand out as a beacon of hope.
Besides providing the children with education, the Mary Ward school also provide them with books, stationery, uniform and mid-day meals.
Malla Travel & Trek Services takes pride in sponsoring the following bright young girls for their future education for the academic year 2026-27 as a part of the ASMAN Scholarship Programme initiated by the alumni of St. Mary’s High School in Jawalakhel.
