Dear Colleagues,
Nepal is known for its mountains and mountain-climbers but sometimes tragic accidents happen and take away our very best. Nimsdai Purja the famed mountaineer best known for climbing all 14 eight-thousanders – above 8,000 metres or 26,000 feet high – in six months and six days between April and October 2019 met a tragic end while attempting Broad Peak in Pakistan with many other renowned climbers, victim of an avalanche. His accomplishments were the subject of a Netflix serial “14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible”. We remember him fondly, may he rest in peace and we extend our heart-felt condolences to his family.
We are getting ready for the coming tourist season starting in September. Nepal can be beautifully combined with our regional neighbours Bhutan, Tibet, India and Sri Lanka by offering two and multi-center holidays that will bring tangible and intangible rewards to your faithful customers. Let us remember that “the world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page”.
